One trusted practitioner, genuine care
East Queensland Counselling & Psychology is the practice of Linda Adams — an AHPRA-registered psychologist who keeps things personal, affordable, and grounded in evidence. No rotating staff, no hand-offs. Just continuity of care built around relationships.
Quality care, kept affordable — with relationships at the centre
Relationships First
Healthy connection is the heart of wellbeing — with a partner, with family, and with yourself.
Quality, Fairly Priced
Evidence-based clinical care shouldn't carry a premium price tag. Fees are kept fair and transparent.
Science + Warmth
Neuropsychology and proven therapies, delivered with genuine human warmth — never clinical distance.
Continuity of Care
You always work with Linda directly. One practitioner who knows your story, start to finish.
A psychologist who walks alongside you
Linda Adams is an AHPRA-registered psychologist with a small, considered caseload — deliberately. She chose a focused practice over volume so every client receives genuine time, attention and continuity.
Her work blends evidence-based therapies — Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and neuropsychological insight — with the warmth of real counselling. The goal is simple: you leave each session understanding what’s happening, why, and what you can do today.
Much of Linda’s work centres on relationships — helping couples reconnect and helping individuals mend the relationship they have with themselves. Alongside this, she now offers clinical hypnotherapy as a gentle, evidence-informed complement to talk therapy.

No large team. No rotating clinicians. No being passed between staff. When you book with East Queensland Counselling & Psychology, you book with Linda — and you stay with Linda.
“Understanding is where change begins”
When you understand what’s happening in your brain and body under stress, you stop fighting yourself. That understanding — paired with practical, evidence-based tools — is where lasting change begins.
